Accessibility Statement

TrustLens Shield is built to work for every investor, regardless of ability, device, or connectivity.

Conformance target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA

We test every public page — Home, Check Content, Training Arena, My Progress, Learning Library, Scam Simulator, Anti-Scam Toolkit, and more — with automated axe-core and AccessLint scans on every change, checked against WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 AA rule sets.

Visual

  • Skip-to-content link on every page
  • Visible keyboard focus rings throughout
  • 9 themes including a dedicated high-contrast mode
  • aria-live regions on streaming/dynamic content (e.g. the Check Content analysis progress)
  • prefers-reduced-motion honoured

Hearing

  • Speech/audio transcripts are always shown as text alongside any audio/video analysis — never audio-only
  • Voice playback is optional and supplements, never replaces, the written verdict

Motor

  • The core check → verdict → training loop is fully keyboard-operable
  • Voice input is available as an alternative to typing where supported by the browser

Cognitive

  • A "Simple Language" mode targets a 6th-grade reading level (Flesch–Kincaid), with an automatic rewrite retry when a generated explanation is too complex
  • Low-bandwidth mode reduces visual complexity
  • Plain-language explanations avoid jargon by default
  • Tap-to-define glossary on financial/regulatory terms (SEBI, NAV, KYC, and more) inside every generated explanation

Known limitations

  • A full manual screen-reader pass (NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver) has not yet been completed — our current coverage is automated (axe-core) plus targeted manual spot-checks, not a certified audit.
  • Colour contrast and structural checks (via both axe-core and AccessLint) cover every public page; the internal admin console is out of scope, as it is not a public-facing surface.
